Fun fact: I’ve been dancing since I was 3 years old!Ssome of my favorite things to do in my spare time - monkey around, dance, scuba dive, play with my pups, travel, beach, being a “Ti Ti” and spending time with family and friends!”

Chicago Medical School of Rosalind Franklin University “I was born in Colombia and moved to the Miami when I was a child. I lived in Kendall until moving to Chicago for medical school and I am now so happy now to be coming back to the city that feels like home. I love to travel, to hike, to bike and to bake.”

USF Health Morsani College of Medicine “I was born in New Jersey, but after living in Miami for over 18 years, this is my home. I’ve spent years trying new things and finding new ways to have fun, but my two greatest passions are food and soccer. From video games, airsoft, and paintball to poker and blackjack; I live to try new things. I love my family, my girlfriend, my dog, and making those around me laugh. I look forward to taking care of the South Florida community."

Nova Southeastern University college of Osteopathic Medicine “I'm originally from Miami, Florida, and I completed my bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/ Art at New College of Florida. Some of my hobbies include: yoga, woodworking, backpacking, hiking, camping, rock climbing, kayaking, and most other outdoor activities. I also like reading science fiction, watching movies, and cooking. A fun fact about me is: I once led a crew of restoration volunteers though the Yosemite backcountry"

University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston "I'm originally from Texas but was able to experience Florida during one of my medical school rotations. Now I'm here! I love most animals (looking at you, millipedes) and just adopted a black kitten named Salem. My main hobbies include running, biking, reading, and archery. Fun fact: I was on the rowing team in college!"

University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston “I was born and raised right across the border from El Paso TX. When I feel energetic, I like to bike, sail, fly kites and play with my dog and play beat saber on VR. When I feel lazy, I like to watch movies, anime and play with my cat. Fun fact, I want to be an astronaut when I grow up.”

Florida State University “I’m from Tampa, FL, but I was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. My mother is Puerto Rican and my father was born in Panama but is of Spanish Descent. I love spending time with my wife, fishing, hunting, traveling, ministry, car mechanics, and anything that gives me an adrenaline rush! Fun fact: I once won a bodybuilding competition when I was actually fit, in college!”

University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine “I grew up in various cities prior to finding a home in Texas for high school and medical school, and, now, I am beyond excited for this new adventure in Florida! I am very passionate about diversity and experiencing different cultures through travel, and I greatly enjoy musical theatre, podcasts/audiobooks, baking, going to concerts and hockey games, and various outdoor activities (canyoning, rafting, kayaking, skiing, etc.)."

Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine “After traveling a bit for university and medical school I am taking my talents back home to Miami, FL (where I was born and raised). Grew up in the Kendall area actually, my family is Venezuelan on one side and Cuban on the other. Really enjoy traveling, snowboarding, scuba diving, weight lifting, and salsa dancing! Fun Fact: I used to be a salsa instructor for many years and taught back in college!"

Chicago Medical School of Rosalind Franklin University “I grew up in the Midwest, spending both my undergrad and medical school years in Chicago. In addition to a close knit family, I am fortunate enough to have had a support system of friends through school, rugby and of course D&D. Some of my hobbies include working out, cooking and knitting(it’s a work in progress). While I’ve loved my time in Chicago, I’m eager to soak up some warm weather, new scenery and most importantly, no more snow!"

North East Ohio Medical University “I’m originally from Detroit, Michigan, but I have spent most of my life in Canton, Ohio. I have a little fluff ball dog named Paddington. I love spending time with family, yoga, cooking, traveling and any outdoor activities! Fun Fact: I have jumped out of a plane at 14,000 feet and dived to 120 feet under the sea.”

Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine I was born outside Toronto but grew up in the Nashville area. In my free time I like getting outside, playing soccer, running, lifting weights anything active really. Aside from outdoor activities I really enjoy cooking and I have a 3-year-old pup!

Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University New York native, Puerto Rican roots. I enjoy long walks on the beach, weight-lifting, jogging, and scenic views. If you snuck up on me on a day off, you might find me reading a George R.R. martin book, watching the walking dead, or playing smash brothers. I also like to play some poker. I may or may not have the largest collection of teletubbies in the world.

Kansas City University I’m from Ft. Lauderdale, FL but haven’t lived here for 12 years. During that time, I’ve been lucky to live and meet incredible friends in San Diego, Chicago, Kansas City, and most recently, Denver. My hobbies include everything with my fuzzy best bud, Bodhi... fishing, snowboarding, photography, live music, camping, traveling to unfamiliar places, psychological thriller novels, eating any and all kinds of food, and finding the best sour beers.

LSU Health Science Shreveport I was born in Romania, but immigrated to Louisiana when I was 7 and a half. Though I finished medical school at LSU Shreveport, I completed undergrad at University of Alabama and am a die-hard Alabama football fan (Roll Tide!). In my free time I enjoy playing volleyball and basketball, cooking, serial killer documentaries, painting, traveling, and snowboarding. I’m a big foodie and love trying new things to eat.

University of Florida College I was born in Colombia but lived in Orlando most of my life. I alternate between wanting to be a couch potato and wanting to be an athlete. I am interested in food, tv shows, movies, animals , anime , soccer, wrestling, college football and traveling. My hobbies include working out and learning about personal finance.

Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine I am from Pure Michigan. I completed undergrad at Michigan State University. Go Green! After undergrad, I moved to Madrid, Spain to teach English and improve my Spanish. I wanted to continue my graduate education in Spanish, so I elected to study medicine in Puerto Rico. I am very passionate about European football (¡Hala Madrid!), golf, music, and fitness. I listen to various genres of music including reggaeton, rock, and country.

Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine I was born in Michigan but grew up in Atlanta, Ga. I’m half Korean and half Lao. In my free time I like to stay active by either walking my dog on a trail or lifting weights. My dad and younger brother are both chefs so naturally, I’m a huge foodie. I also love to travel and experience new cultures through food.

Zucker School of Medicine I grew up in San Diego, did my undergrad in Santa Barbara, and did medical school in New York. Within Emergency Medicine, I’m interested in Sports Medicine and Ultrasound, but I also hope to invent something (or things) during my career that would functionally improve our approach to medicine. My hobbies include surfing, watching sports, studying/playing poker, and doing anything outside with my dogs Buddy and Bali.

University of Texas Medical Branch I'm from Houston, Texas. My hobbies include playing tennis, hiking, traveling, thrifting, and spending time with my family and friends. I love to read, and my 2021 goal is to read at least one book a week! So far, I'm on track and have read 26...hopefully I can keep it up. Fave books this year so far are Pachinko by Min Jin Lee and The Hearts Invisible Furies by John Boyne.

Liberty University College I'm from Brevard County, FL. I like to play tennis & basketball, but I really want to learn how to play golf as well. I was a champion in an intramural basketball league in my undergraduate years at UCF. One of my passions, outside of practicing emergency medicine, is Health Policy.

Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine I've lived in quite a few places & my family is spread out all over... So home is with my boxers-Lola & Roxie and the gf. I spend my free time running, cycling, adventuring, writing, & on Audible-being able to listen to books on the go at 1.2x speed is a game changer. Overall, my favorite activity = anything with the pups. Random things I really enjoy are boxers, skincare, sours & IPAs, red wine, online shopping, coffee & Netflix.

Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine My name is Austin. I was born and raised in Northern California with three sisters. I went to UC Davis for undergrad and played collegiate lacrosse while there. My girlfriend and I have two cats, Mochi and Soba. My hobbies include: traveling, trying new foods (BIG foodie), and going to the gym.

Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine I’m Connor, and I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. I completed undergrad at the University of Toledo. Go Rockets! During undergrad, I studied abroad in Costa Rica to improve my Spanish. My hobbies include traveling, learning languages, drinking coffee, lifting weights, and anything involving tacos. Fun facts: I won a taco eating contest on Cinco de Mayo

SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine Hi, I’m Christine! I’m second generation Egyptian, born in Brooklyn but raised on Long Island. I went to college in Boston, then took some years off before med school working and getting my MPH, but back to Brooklyn for med school! I’m excited to be here in Miami for the next few years, soaking up the sun especially in January (looking forward to sending those pictures to my NY friends). I also just got married.

My hobbies include running/working out, listening to personal development books/podcasts, traveling with my dog Zara, carpentry, and learning new things like horse back riding. I'm excited to start my emergency residency in Florida at Kendall. I love to Dance Dance Revolution (a new verb is born),Windsurf, and compose music when I'm not hanging out with my wife or my dog, who is upsettingly cute.

St. George’s University School of Medicine I was raised in Rome, GA. Played college golf for 2 years before completing undergrad at the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!). I then attended St. George’s University School of Medicine on the Caribbean island of Grenada. My hobbies include playing golf, fly fishing, and spending time with my wife, Karlee, and one year old daughter Lennox. One interesting fact about me is that I love the game show Jeopardy.

University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine My name is Jeannie. I’m from Little Rock, AR, and I am excited for this new journey in emergency medicine in FL! I enjoy being outside, hiking, dancing, traveling, taking photos, and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy reading and hope to read more this year. Fun fact: I recently completely my first half marathon and hope to participate in another race!
