Welcome!
We are excited to see that you are interested in the Florida Kendall Hospital Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship program.
I am Dr. Moises Moreno, the current Fellowship Program Director, and I invite you to explore everything that our program has to offer.
Our Hospital
Florida Kendall Hospital is an academic community hospital located in Miami, Florida. It is a busy Level I Trauma Center and Burn Center and in addition holds Comprehensive Stroke and Chest Pain Center designations, treating more than 90,000 patients annually. Emergency Ultrasound is an integral aspect of Emergency Medicine at Florida Kendall Hospital.
Our Fellowship
We are a 1-year EUFAC Accredited Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship that was first established in 2020. Our fellows will undertake a year-longs curriculum based on ACEP recommendations to achieve expertise in Emergency Ultrasound. The objective of the fellowship is to provide fellows with all the skills needed to excel not only as Emergency Ultrasound directors but also as leaders in the Emergency Ultrasound community. Fellows will participate in additional ultrasound courses and workshops throughout their fellowship. They will also engage in multiple research and quality improvement opportunities.
